I've been working on this one for a few days off and on. I think I may change the boy to look at his Granny instead of his current expression. I feel like this could be a sweet moment but the kid's face right now as it is, isn't working for me. Update- I changed it! lol I added it to the scroll, a before and after...

----- Side note:
One of the things I miss about living in New York is public transportation. Yes, it wasn't always the best and YES sometimes people got a little too close for comfort BUT there's nothing like people watching on the train or the bus in NYC. I would take the Q83 almost everyday to the E train and ride that to school. It was about a hour and a half trip and I would see so many different people traveling to some place different and I rarely saw the same person twice.

I really don't like drawing, painting, or inking backgrounds...I  always try to get around it somehow. I just don't find it interesting...

I'm really liking this balance I'm coming up with...I do think it's different but I can feel my art evolving and shifting into something better!

I'm not sure how I feel about the blue water in the windows....

I'll prob rework this image, maybe having her facing the viewer...Seems to make more sense. I was just playing around with this image anyways. I don't think it will go anywhere.
