A spread from La Lunita...ish
This isn't really the La Lunita story but I am using the character to create some sequential art. (As mentioned in a post below.) I probably have about 2-3 more pages to finish the lyrics I'm using but I like how it's coming along. I hope to have more sketches to show this weekend! :)
Playing around with fonts
So this changed a little...
Decided to make the images that I'm working on, per the last post, be more inline with the story idea I have called La Lunita. I think the type may need a little more work but I really like how this came out!
A Million Dreams
I love this song from The Greatest Showman! I'm gonna do some sequential art based on this part of the lyrics. Still working on this first one but I like where it's headed. Added some sketch ideas below.
"Every night I lie in bed
The brightest colors fill my head
A million dreams are keeping me awake
I think of what the world could be
A vision of the one I see
A million dreams is all it's gonna take
A million dreams for the world we're gonna make"
Random Pages in my Sketchbook
I've been sketching a lot lately. Really using my sketchbook the way it's meant to be used. I have trend of starting a sketchbook then stopping then starting then buying a new sketchbook and the process repeats. But this time I am trying to stay focused and sticking to my book and just working through it. So far I like what I see! :)
While my goal is to make a career in publishing, I do have a full-time job creating t-shirt designs. So here's a random post of some of the stuff I do at my day job.
Meet Winifred, Winnie for short!
"At some point I was born...Well, at least I think I was... You see, I don't remember. In fact, I only remember the moment I stepped through the doors of The Dream Factory. I've been a DC, (oh, DC = Dream Catcher, we'll get back to that!) since that first step, or at least that's what I thought..."
Possible graphic novel idea. Still fleshing it out the characters and story but I think it's a solid concept! :)
Working on new art (always...) this class picture is actually an old sketch that I never took to finish. I'd like to refine it a bit more and finish it. This one might take awhile.
